Mejiros

February 2023 has brought the Mejiros out to Yoyogi Park again to drink nectar from the very first cherry blossoms of the year.
Those tiny green warblers are always a joy to watch and take pictures of. I have been to the park three times this spring to see them. Here are my favourite pictures from these shoots.

Back in 2020…

…I first came across the Japanese White Eyes in Yoyogi Park.
Taking pictures of them was a major challenge for me, since those tiny birds are quite quick, but I had so much fun with them.
With time and practice I have improved the quality of my Mejiro pictures, but I still like the soft colors and dreamy atmosphere of these older images as well.
