To the Flowers
This was a quick session in the evening. Cailee had already been working with my husband Peter for a few hours on another project when we started this Flower-shoot.
The ideas were Cailee’s and I build the set. Again I used my Twinkle Star filter for some of the pictures. Not just for the light effect, but also for the softness it creates.
In the beginning I took some shots without the filter:
I also tried the scene as a Black&White:
Then I decided that the scene was calling for a dreamy atmosphere and started using my Twinkle Star filter that I had first used in my shoot with Sofia:
In this next concept we explored some options with Cailee’s tattoo. Hiding it with the arm, keeping it, or editing it out in post:
Covering the tattoo with the arm I found looked unnatural, therefore I prefer the images where it is either visible (first of the two above), or edited out (second of the two above).
The final concept I found very intriguing, but I have to admit that I am not entirely happy with my results. With a slightly more open aperture they might have looked more interesting, but we were running out of time already. Probably I will make use of another opportunity in the future to further explore this idea, maybe even as a full art nude:
