Give a Boy a Guitar

I read a quote today saying that “if you love somebody else’s art more than your own, you aren’t doing it right”, and I think I agree. Not that I would believe that every single photo I take is a masterpiece, but, when I work on a photo or a photo series, then I work on it until I absolutely love this thing I created. As long as I don’t love it, I won’t but it out. And of course, at a later point, when my skills and tastes have developed, I may see flaws again, I may even feel intrigued to revisit older works and make changes, but I guess that is it. I will always strife to create something I adore. Of course, that does’t mean that others will agree that my creations are the best thing ever. I don’t expect them to. Still, I think that some people out there like my work. Hopefully. And that they appreciate my approach to always try to create the next thing that I love the most.

So after rambling about this for a whole paragraph, what I actually wanted to write about was this shoot with model JC (IG: @josecarlosgall). Another one of my favorits this year so far :)
The shoot itself was quick and simple. I had a concept that I wanted to realise and I chose the perfect guy for the job. A really hope to get more opportunities to work with JC again in the future.
