Colourful Easter Bunnies

This months volunteer crafting project is all about eastern!
I wanted to make something fun and colourful, also I had impulse bought a pack of googly eyes a while ago that I wanted to use. So after looking at a few crafting ideas for inspiration I settled for these paper craft bunny wall decorations:

The templates used for the bunnies I have drawn myself. Feel free to use them, or make your own.

For one easter bunny you need two ears, two paws, a face, a nose, two (googly) eyes, four pieces of paper yarn, a glue stick and a pen.

The yarn will make your bunnies whiskers. Bundle the four pieces together. Then pick one piece of yarn and use it to tie a knot around the other three. The knot should sit in the middle of the yarns as much as possible.

Use the glue stick to first stick the centre-knot of the whiskers onto the bunnies face, and then stick the nose on top.

Turn the head around and stick the earn and paws on the back. The bunny is almost complete.

Just draw a mouth and toes for your bunny and stick on the eyes. If you do not have googly eyes, or simply don’t want to use them, you can draw eyes for your bunny as well.

I had a lot of fun experimenting with different colours and paper combinations.

To make hanging the bunny decorations up easier and more flexible you can add a looped yarn or string. Just stick it to the back with tape.

I hope my bunnies will bring some joy to the kids and seniors in the homes receiving our crafts!
