AutoMode

At the moment I am taking an online photography class. The class really starts at the basics, and for the first assignment I had to take pictures in Auto Mode. I am not really happy with the outcome, though I also admit that I did not feel exceptionally inspired when I quickly went to Shiba Koen and Zojo Temple in-between two other appointments.
Still, for future reverence and to keep track of the progress I will hopefully be making during the course of the class, I am sharing the best of my shots here.

Before this assignment I had never used my camera, an Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II, in full Auto Mode. Therefore, I was actually struggling more with my camera settings, then I would have using Aperture or Speed mode, or even going full Manuel Mode.
Especially focusing often did not work out the way I wanted it to.

In the next assignment I will have to use Program Mode, which is another mode I never tried to use before on my camera. This time I might take a bit of time at home to get used to the mode before I go out to shoot, so that I can use the shooting time to focus on motive and composition, as I believe to be intended by the assignment.
