Like a Doll

And once again I am behind updating my homepage and especially this blog section.

So let me go back to the end of July, where I finally got the chance to have a photoshoot with Sierra (IG: @frokyo ).
I have been following her on Instagram since 2020 when she organised the Black Lives Matter Peaceful March here in Tokyo. I had planned to ask her for a photography session since I got into portraiture, but I was really intimidated by her many followers and regular great content on social media.
Now I finally felt ready, asked her, and got a “yes!”

Actually Sierra is very sweet and a little shy herself. Still, I am glad I waited to ask her until I had the skill and lighting equipment I have now.

This is the initial lighting set up I prepared for the shoot.

The pictures turned out really beautiful, and I am so happy with them!
